Belgharia

Belgharia Belgharia (Bengali: বেলঘড়িয়া) is a suburb and a northern district of Kolkata. It is situated near Barrackpore Trunk Road under Kamarhati Municipality.

Now it has become a business hub, well connected with Kolkata with trains, buses and other means of transport. Belgharia is one of the stations of the main train line starting from Sealdah. This place is a suburb of Kolkata city capital of West Bengal in India. The Feeder road to the Belgharia railway station. Feeder road is one of the main roads in Belghoria. Feeder road connects Belghoria to B.T

. Road (i.e. Barrackpore Trunk Road) to the west and through Madhusudan Banerjee (MB) Road to Birati and consequently to Jessore road in the east. Ramakrishna Paramhansa visited this place 8 times and the 1st time was in 1875. Ramakrishna Mission also situated here and they run a Students' Home for meritorius poor and needy students along with a 3 year Diploma Engg. College . They are also conducting relief activities with a public library and homeopatic dispensary. Swami Vijnananda. a direct disciple of Ramakrishna also resided here. The main educational institutions of Belgharia are Belgharia Bhairab Ganguly College, High School, Jatindas Vidyamandir, Udaypur Haradayal Nag Adarsha Vidyalaya etc. Bhairab Ganguly College is situated near Belgharia post office. The newly built Belghoria Expressway which links Jassore Road with Dumdum Airport and Nivedita Setu on Ganges increased the importance of this places. The place is now beaming up with flats. Belgharia still oozes old world charm of Bengal. The cosmopolitan culture of new age Bengal hasn't yet penetrated the town. The population consists of generally middle class Bengali [Bhadralok]. Of late a lot of student messes has sprung up chiefly because of the low cost of living and close proximity to the city of Kolkata. NOTE:It has a very old history which is unknown to the most.Here is a cannale called Bagjola cannale.Some details have been in some 14th century's text written by mughals.It had a big market beside Nadikul(Nimta).Very Dangerous areas were modern day Prafullanagar & also Usumpore & Narendranagar due to high population of Thengare(Dacoit who uses long stick as their weapon & killed their victims by that).Usumpore & Narendranagar remain very Dangerous due to them till the first half of 19th century.

অন্নপূর্ণার ভাতা এর জন্য যেসব মহিলা রাস্তা ট্রেন বাস অবরোধ করে মানুষের অসুবিধা সৃষ্টি করছে এদের বেশিরভাগ ভাতা পেয়ে গেছে,
আন্দোলন করুন স্বামীর চাকরি, ছেলেমেয়েদের চাকরি, জিনিসপত্রের দাম নিয়ে
তাহলে তো ভাতা এর দরকার পড়বে না more....

কামারহাটি মিউনিসিপালিটি আন্ডারে, যে মহিলা অন্নপূর্ণার ভান্ডার পেয়েছে তারা হ্যাঁ বলুন তো।।

বলতে তো হবেই,
অন্নপূর্ণা ভাণ্ডারের নাম করে সেই তৃণমূল রাস্তাঘাটে মহিলাদের দিয়ে সরকারকে বদনাম করছে,
গলায় সোনার চেন, হাতে দামি মোবাইল নিয়ে দিকে,দিকে আর সাজানো গরীব মহিলাদের নিয়ে আন্দোলন করছে।

প্যান কার্ড আর আধার কার্ড দিয়ে দেখুন এদের ইনকাম টা কি আছে ।
সরকারি চাকরি করে যার স্বামী এবং মহিলা তাদের দেবেনই না, যাদের চারচাকা আছে তাদের দেবেনই না, যারা বেসরকারি স্কুলে পড়ায় বাচ্চাদের তাদের দেবেনই না, যারা ইনকাম ট্যাক্স দেয় তাদের দেবেনই না,
কিন্তূ তারা পেলো, বন্ধ করে দিন এই ভাতা।
"কিন্তু অনেক গরিব মানুষ এখনও পাইনি"
প্লিজ ওনাদের দিন।
