Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As we gather in spirit to celebrate the glorious feast of Easter, we rejoice in the triumph of life over death, hope over despair, and love over fear. The Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is not only the cornerstone of our faith but also a radiant reminder that light will always pierce through darkness.

On behalf of the Catholic Association of Bengal, its Executive Committee Members, and office bearers, we extend our heartfelt greetings to each of you and your families. May this Easter season renew your faith, strengthen your bonds of community, and inspire acts of compassion and service.

In these times of challenge and change, let us walk together as witnesses of Christ’s peace, carrying forward the message of dignity, justice, and fraternity. May the Risen Lord bless our homes, our communities, and our nation with harmony and joy.

On this Good Friday, we bow our heads in reverence before the Cross, remembering the ultimate sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. His journey of suffering and love is not only a testament of faith but also a call to each of us—to walk humbly, to serve selflessly, and to embrace one another with compassion.

As a community, we gather in prayer and reflection, united in gratitude for the redemption offered to humanity. May this day inspire us to deepen our commitment to justice, mercy, and peace, carrying forward the light of Christ into the world.

Let us hold close the words of Scripture: “By His wounds, we are healed.” May the solemnity of Good Friday strengthen our spirit and prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter.

With hearts full of thanks, we reflect on a truly life-giving Blood Donation Camp organized by The Catholic Association of Bengal at Church of Our Lady of Vailankanni Picnic Garden Archdiocese of Calcutta

What began as a Lenten sacrifice became a powerful act of love and compassion. Each donor who came forward didn’t just give blood — they gave hope, healing, and a second chance at life. ❤️

To our donors, volunteers, medical team, clergy, and everyone who spread the word or brought a friend — thank you. Your selfless gesture has reminded us that faith is lived best through action.

May this spirit of service continue beyond Lent, inspiring us to keep choosing kindness, courage, and community.

🙏 Grateful Hearts 🙏

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the Taizé Prayer Service and made the evening so deeply prayerful and grace-filled.

Your presence, silence, voices, and intentions came together as one beautiful offering in the presence of the Lord. Moments like these remind us that faith grows stronger when we gather, pray, and journey together.

Deep gratitude to all who helped organize, serve, sing, and support this prayer service, and to St. Mary's Church Ripon Street for opening its doors and hearts.

May the peace we experienced continue to dwell within us and guide us forward.

✝️ Blood Donation Drive During Lent ✝️

This Lent season, we are called to acts of sacrifice and love. On 22 February 2026, The Catholic Association of Bengal , together with St. Ignatius Parish, embraced this spirit by organizing a Blood Donation Camp.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Angelina Mantosh Jasnani , Sylvia David , and Ricky Felix for their tireless efforts in making this initiative possible. Their dedication reminds us that giving of ourselves—whether time, energy, or even blood—is a profound way to live out Christ’s call to serve others.

Every drop donated is a gift of life, a symbol of compassion, and a reflection of the true meaning of Lent.
