Watch the fruit of our year long efforts in 20-21.
On Women's day this year, (8 March 2021), 1100 mothers from all over the country came together at Assi Ghat in Varanasi to deliver a powerful performance of Shiv Tandav Stotram.

With diyas (lamps) in their hands and positivity in their hearts, they sang in unison, focused on spreading light, joy and optimism in the world. Facing the timeless Ganga (Ganges) as the sun set over her distant bank, the sound of 1100 mothers singing Shiv Tandav Stotram reverberated across Assi Ghat and in the hearts of 1100 families who supported their mothers in this noble endeavour.

They wore face shields and maintained perfect social distancing as they sang, sending a powerful message of safety to the entire nation as it grappled with a crippling Covid 19 pandemic.

Women Development Cell is focused on coming up with initiatives that help in the development and empowerment of Women at NITIE Mumbai. We organized an Interactive session with Madam Madhuri Sahasrabudhe on 31st January 2021 in the NITIE campus from 11 AM to 1 PM.
Mrs. Madhuri Sahasrabudhe is the Chairperson of the Foundation for Holistic Development in Academic Field - FHDAF. She has been working on women empowerment, especially for Mothers. For her commendable work, the UP government tourism department conferred on her NARI SHAKTI SWAROOPA award. She was also conferred the ADARSH MAHILA award by the Legal Rights Council India.
The topic for the session at NITIE was her Journey of “Mothers on Wheels from Delhi to London”.
She along with a team of 3 other mothers went on a self-driven road trip of 23650Km covering a total of 20+ countries interacting with a wide range of women in these countries and studying motherhood and its impact on the culture of the society in that country.
Being a part of an all-women caravan, she presented some very beautiful and challenging experiences that she came across in this journey and presented her learnings especially for women and society at large.
It was our privilege to have her on our campus and learn from her incredible experiences. The online event was graced by the Honorable Director of NITIE, Prof. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, The WDC Cell members, Prof. Seema Unnikrishnan, Prof. Anju Singh, Prof. Priyanka Verma, Commander Nisha Singh, and Mr. Prashant Goswami, and the WDC student committee members.

Mothers are responsible for the well-being of the family. She is like a main pole of a Circus. If she is sound emotionally, socially, physically, the whole family feels sound. This is everyone's experience.
We all know how effective our Sanskrit Stotram are.. in developing languages, pronunciation. If you know Sanskrit, you can easily learn any language and our Sanskrit literature is full of mystic Stotram.
Shiv Tandav Stotram is one such Stotram, very difficult to pronounce, recite.
We are extending our helping hand to all the mothers who wish to learn Shiv Tandav Stotram.
The sessions have already started. 3 batches of 20 participants are completed.
