🛑From last few months every week many residents of Salganga, Kumbhirgram Airport were lodging FIR against their stolen two wheelers 🏍 at Udharbond Police Station continuously . But still thief's are doing their job very well. It's very unfortunate for the residents of these areas.

🛑 I request District Administration to take strict action against such activities. And also I request Salganga Bazar committee to provide token system parking facilities specially on market days.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on 7/3/22 between Doloo Tea Company India Ltd and the 3 registered trade unions of the Doloo tea estate representing the workers of the garden. The 3 trade unions are BCSU, BVCMS and CITU.
The state government of Assam is desirous to develop a new International Greenfield Airport in Silchar as the current one is a defence Airport. And on the basis of the feasibility report and a study conducted by multi disciplinary team from airport authority of India and officials of state government of Assam wherein Doloo Tea estate was the most feasible site for a new airport out of all available sites near Silchar. The company relinquished 2500 bighas of land out of total 9250 bighas of land to the state government of Assam in lieu of compensation for tea bushes, shed tree on said pieces of 2500 bighas of land. The agreement covers pending PF, GRATUITY, ARREAR WAGES to the workers and The company assures the unions that it will not retrench or layoff of any workers. Besides virgin land of 101 hectares of land are taken up for plantation and also take up development of infrastructure like Labour quarter, roads, drinking water and football ground.

Barak Valley is all set to get a Greenfield Airport at Dalu, the agreement of which was signed today by DC Cachar and Dalu Tea Garden Management.
With this agreement, the way for a Greenfield Airport has been paved, and it's only a matter of time for the dream of the people of Barak Valley to get fulfilled.
A Greenfield Airport will open up various opportunities for the people of Barak Valley and wil provide employment to the youths of the valley. It's truly is a huge feat, that we all achieved today.
