Youth from Kokrajhar district participated in the National Youth Day celebration at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Guwahati, where over 50 changemakers received the prestigious "Youth Talent Award 2025."

The event was graced by Hon'ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, BJP Assam Pradesh President Shri Bhabesh kalita ভৱেশ কলিতা, Prabhari of BJP Assam Pradesh, Shri Harish Dwivedi Ji, and Assam Cabinet Minister Shri Jayanta Mallabaruah. It was led by BJYM Assam State President, Shri Rakesh Das.

It was a moment of great pride and joy for all the BJYM Kokrajhar workers as the Hon'ble State President, Shri Rakesh Das, graced Kokrajhar with his visit.

We hosted a vibrant program that commenced with a warm welcome through the captivating Mwsaglangnai Bodo traditional dance. The event featured an organizational meeting, a membership induction ceremony, and the distribution of wheelchairs to Persons with Disabilities.

Our President, Kansai Brahma, extended a warm welcome to Shri Rakesh Das, President of BJYM Assam, and Shri Ganesh Das, Secretary of BJYM Assam, by presenting them with a memento of Bodofa U. N. Brahma, the revered father of the Bodo community.

Arup Kumar Dey, EM of BTR, who arranged the wheelchairs, assured during his speech that he would facilitate sending 200 members of BJYM Kokrajhar to visit the Ram Mandir in the near future.

Kabita Basumatary, President of BJP Kokrajhar, and Reo Reoa Narzihary, MCLA of Jamduar constituency also graced the program with their presence.
