As part of the Intensified IEC Campaign on HIV and STI Awareness, 45 village-level sensitisation meetings were held across 14 districts of Nagaland, taking awareness and meaningful conversations closer to communities.

The campaign continues to move forward, reaching communities at the grassroots and encouraging informed choices.

Strengthening convergence for inclusion and access.

On 28 August 2026, NSACS held a Joint Working Group (JWG) meeting with the Department of Urban Development, Nagaland, chaired by Shri Tarachu Fithu, Director, Urban Development.

Discussions focused on training of existing SHGs under Urban Development in Dimapur, formation of SHGs among the PLHIV community, and an enrolment drive in Kohima, Dimapur and Mokokchung to support eligible community members in accessing the PM SVANidhi scheme.

A step forward in strengthening inter-sectoral convergence and expanding access to livelihood and social protection.
