Today on 08 May 2026, under the NMBA (Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan) programme, a Quiz Competition and Drug Awareness activity was organised at Government Higher Secondary School Palmar.

The programme was organised under the supervision of Mr. Baburam Sir Lecturer in Physics, who served as the organiser of the event
After that Mr. Madan Lal Sir Lecturer in Zoology, conducted the quiz competition in which four teams participated actively.

Team C, represented by Mr. Rohan Parihar and Sujal Sharma, won the competition with excellent performance.

In the end Chief Guest, Principal HSS Palmar Mr. Jaffer Hussain Zarger, appreciated the students and distributed prizes among the winners. The programme ended with the message.
“Say NO to Drugs, YES to Life.”

🛑 *Debate on De-Addiction of Drugs at HSS Boys Kishtwar* 🛑

A debate on the *De-Addiction of Drugs* was organised at *HSS Boys Kishtwar* under the guidance and instructions of *Sh. Ashok Kumar, Principal* of the institution. The programme was conducted as part of the ongoing *Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA)* campaign.

Students participated enthusiastically in the debate and shared their views on the harmful effects of drug abuse, the importance of awareness, and the role of youth in building a drug-free society. The activity encouraged critical thinking, confidence, and social responsibility among the students.

*Well Being House* took the lead in organising the debate successfully and ensured active participation throughout the programme.

At the conclusion of the event, prizes were distributed among the participating students by the Worthy Principal in appreciation of their efforts and active involvement.

Govt. HSS Nagseni organised a *Quiz Competition on Drug Awareness* on 8th May 2026 under the *“100 Days Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan”*.

The programme aimed to spread awareness among students about the harmful effects of drugs and to encourage a healthy, disciplined, and drug-free lifestyle. Students actively participated in the event and showed great enthusiasm towards the campaign.

The quiz competition provided students with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge regarding substance abuse, health awareness, and social responsibility while promoting the message of a safe and addiction-free society.

As per the calendar issued by the higher authorities, a *Quiz Competition on Drug Abuse* was organised at *Govt. Model Higher Secondary School Chatroo* on 8th May 2026 under the able supervision and guidance of Worthy Principal, *Mr. Vinod Kumar Babouria*.

The programme aimed to create awareness among students regarding the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage them to adopt a healthy, disciplined, and responsible lifestyle. Students from different houses participated enthusiastically, making the event both informative and engaging.

The quiz competition consisted of four interesting rounds covering various aspects of drug abuse, health awareness, and social responsibility. All participating teams displayed remarkable confidence, knowledge, and team spirit throughout the programme.

An awareness activity under the *Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan Jammu and Kashmir* was organised at High School Gahan in collaboration with AAM Gahan on 08.05.2026.

🌱 *Kitchen Garden Initiative at Government High School Galhar* 🌱

Students and teachers of Government High School Galhar enthusiastically participated in the preparation of the school kitchen garden using modern farming techniques. Plastic mulching sheets were used on the soil beds to protect crops from weeds, maintain soil moisture, and promote healthy plant growth.

Through this practical activity, students learned the importance of kitchen gardening, scientific farming methods, and environmental awareness. The hands-on experience helped them understand how modern agricultural practices can improve crop protection and enhance the quality of vegetables grown in the school garden.

The initiative created great enthusiasm among the students and encouraged teamwork, learning by doing, and awareness about healthy and sustainable food practices. Once the vegetables are ready for harvesting, they will be utilised under the PM Poshan Scheme (Mid-Day Meal Scheme) for the benefit of the students.
