🌾 Today, DM, Khowai; ADM, Khowai; BDO, Teliamura; Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of Teliamura Block, along with other distinguished officials and dignitaries, participated in the Pathshala session and interacted with the farmers regarding the scheme and its implementation.

📍 Following the session, the dignitaries visited the project site at Bramachhara under Teliamura Block of Khowai District and again interacted with the farmers in the field to review the ongoing activities and understand the ground-level implementation.

A one-day awareness programme titled “Samridhi Pathsala” was successfully organized today at the Teliamura Panchayat Samiti Hall under Khowai District.

Smt. Aparna Singha Roy (Datta), Hon’ble Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zila Parishad, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The programme was also attended by the DM, Khowai; ADM, Khowai; BDO, Teliamura; Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of Teliamura Block along with other distinguished officials and dignitaries.

The Deputy Director, DoWR, MoJS and SE, CEC, Meghna Circle, Silchar also attended the programme and highlighted the importance and benefits of the Samridhi M-CADWM Scheme being implemented at Bramachhara under Teliamura Block.

The programme aimed to spread awareness on sustainable water resource management and encourage community participation for rural development.

Under the TRESP Scheme, IMC spawn has been distributed today among 10 PG members of Tulasikhor and Padmabil Blocks for fish seed production through demo ponds.
Each PG member received 800cc IMC spawn, 200 kg MOC, 50 kg lime, cleaner, and other essential inputs for successful fish seed production.
The initiative aims to promote sustainable fish seed production at the local level. Through these demo ponds, the PG members will practically demonstrate the process and train other local PG members in future to help fulfill the growing local demand for fish seed.

Acting on a special vehicle checking drive, Mungiakami Police intercepted a suspicious vehicle at 41 Mile and seized about 2,10,000 suspected Burmese cigarette sticks in 21 cartons, detaining two persons and handing them over to Customs, Teliamura for further legal action.
