Sailing Through Time, Celebrating Heritage: Boita Bandana at Venkateswar English Medium School, Minchinpatna

Venkateswar English Medium School, Minchinpatna, proudly celebrated Boita Bandana, a traditional Odia festival that honors the maritime legacy and rich cultural heritage of Odisha. This auspicious occasion is a reminder of the brave sailors and traders who braved the seas to establish trade and cultural ties with distant lands.

Our students and teachers came together to recreate the traditional Boita (handmade boats) and decorated them with flowers, leaves, and lights. The school premises were transformed into a vibrant waterfront, with the sound of traditional music and the smell of traditional delicacies filling the air.

A Huge Success: "The Pioneers of Discovery" Science Exhibition*

We were thrilled to host the "Pioneers of Discovery" Science Exhibition on the 62nd birthday of our beloved co-founder, Late Chandra Sekhar Pati Sir. The event saw an overwhelming response, with students, parents, and science enthusiasts coming together to celebrate the spirit of innovation and discovery.

The exhibition featured innovative projects and experiments by our students, showcasing their scientific prowess and creativity. It was a wonderful tribute to Late Chandra Sekhar Pati Sir's legacy, and we're grateful to everyone who participated and made it a success.

Bhubaneswar 31/07/2022. Chandra Sekhar Pati, The Chairman of Venkateswar group of Schools has passed away today at 2.00 am at Amri Hospital, Bhubaneswar. He has been suffering from chronic kidney disease and was under dialysis.
He was an educationist, social activist and kind hearted man. He has shown his generosity to all the people who came in contact with him. He used to serve poor and helpless people.
He was a very good teacher, guide and philosopher and create wonderful thoughts and ideas for teaching learning process. He loved the teachers and advised them to look after the poor students.
He was held in high esteem by the principals, staff and students of Venkateswar English Medium School. It was a great loss for all of us.
May his soul rest in peace!
