📢 SAMANVAYA Conclave: Indian Knowledge Systems for Future Ready Education

The Gurukul Foundation School, Kashipur, in academic collaboration and panel participation with the Design Innovation Centre (DIC), IIM Kashipur, organized the SAMANVAYA Conclave on “Indian Knowledge Systems for Future Ready Education: Balancing Tradition, Innovation and Global Readiness.”
The Conclave brought together eminent academicians and institutional leaders who emphasized the integration of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) with modern education to nurture curiosity, creativity, ethics, and global competence.
🔹 Prof. Deepak Paramashivan, IIT Madras – Highlighted AI and OCR in making ancient manuscripts accessible, linking tradition with technology.
🔹 Prof. Vaibhav Bhamoriya, IIM Kashipur – Reflected on the four Purusharthas (Dharma, Artha, K**a, Moksha) as guiding principles for leadership and sustainable decision-making.
🔹 Dr. Vasudha Kapur, Director, TGFS – Advocated interdisciplinary integration of IKS in school education.
🔹 Smt. Padmalatha Suresh, Visiting Professor & Senior Advisor, TGFS – Moderated the panel with balance and purpose.
🔹 Smt. Minal Badhwar, Principal, TGFS – Stressed embedding IKS into daily classroom experiences.
🔹 Ms. Vibha Tiwary, Principal, Early Years Campus – Highlighted introducing IKS to young learners through stories, songs, and play.
The programme was dignified by the presence of distinguished guests including Mr. Ram Mehrotra, Chairman, Uttarakhand State Cooperative Union, and Dr. Smt. Deepika Guria Atray, Chairman, S.C. Guria Institute of Management & Law College, along with representatives from DIC IIM Kashipur.
Concluding the Conclave, the Chairman of TGFS affirmed that such initiatives strengthen scientific temper, creativity, ethics, leadership, and global readiness in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
