All consumers are hereby informed that tomorrow i.e.on 25/08/2026, tree branches behind Subhasnagar DSS will be trimmed/cleared as they are posing a serious risk to the 11KV lines.
For carrying out the work safely, the following feeders will remain under shutdown from 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM:

1. Town feeder
2. Kamalpur feeder
3. PHE feeder

Special Request to Everyone

Electrical Safety Precautions During Storms and Floods

1. Stay away from fallen electric poles and broken power lines.
2. Immediately report damaged electrical wires or transformers to the electricity department.
3. Never touch electrical wires, switches, or appliances with wet hands.
4. Do not attempt electrical repairs yourself during storms or floods.
5. If floodwater enters your home, switch off the main power supply immediately.
6. Move livestock to a safe place away from electric poles, wires, or waterlogged areas.
7. If a live wire falls into water, do not allow people or animals near it.
8. Avoid using electrical appliances during thunderstorms.
9. Keep children and livestock away from flooded areas where electricity may still be present.
10. Never operate electrical appliances while standing in water.
11. In emergencies, use rubber shoes and a dry wooden stick for protection.
12. During lightning storms, unplug televisions, refrigerators, computers, and other devices.
13. Keep emergency lights, torches, and batteries ready in advance.
14. Do not take shelter near electric poles or transformers during storms.
15. Do not use wet or damaged electrical wires.
16. Do not operate electric motors or water pumps in waterlogged areas.
17. If water enters the electric meter box, inform the electricity department immediately.
18. Do not tie livestock beneath electrical connections during rainstorms.
19. During lightning, avoid standing in open fields, under large trees, or near electric poles.
20. If someone is electrocuted, switch off the power supply before helping them.
21. Follow all safety instructions issued by local authorities and the electricity department.
22. After floodwaters recede, have all electrical connections and appliances checked by a qualified electrician.

সকলের প্রতি বিশেষ অনুরোধ

ঝড় ও বন্যার সময় বৈদ্যুতিক নিরাপত্তা সতর্কতা

১। ভেঙে পড়া বৈদ্যুতিক খুঁটি ও ছিঁড়ে যাওয়া বিদ্যুতের তার থেকে দূরে থাকুন।
২। ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত বিদ্যুতের তার বা ট্রান্সফরমারের খবর দ্রুত বিদ্যুৎ বিভাগকে জানান।
৩। ভেজা হাতে কখনো বৈদ্যুতিক তার, সুইচ বা যন্ত্রপাতি স্পর্শ করবেন না।
৪। ঝড় বা বন্যার সময় নিজে থেকে বৈদ্যুতিক মেরামতের চেষ্টা করবেন না।
৫। বন্যার জল ঘরে প্রবেশ করলে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে মূল বিদ্যুৎ সংযোগ বন্ধ করুন।
৬। গবাদি পশুকে বৈদ্যুতিক খুঁটি, তার বা জল জমা এলাকার কাছ থেকে নিরাপদ স্থানে সরিয়ে রাখুন।
৭। বৈদ্যুতিক তার ছিঁড়ে জলে পড়ে থাকলে মানুষ ও পশু কাউকেই সেখানে যেতে দেবেন না।
৮। বজ্রঝড়ের সময় বৈদ্যুতিক যন্ত্রপাতি ব্যবহার এড়িয়ে চলুন।
৯। যেখানে বিদ্যুতের সংযোগ থাকতে পারে এমন প্লাবিত স্থান থেকে শিশু ও গবাদি পশুকে দূরে রাখুন।
১০। জলে দাঁড়িয়ে কখনো বৈদ্যুতিক যন্ত্র চালাবেন না।
১১। জরুরি প্রয়োজনে রাবারের জুতা ও শুকনো কাঠের লাঠি ব্যবহার করুন।
১২। বজ্রপাতের সময় টেলিভিশন, ফ্রিজ, কম্পিউটারসহ অন্যান্য যন্ত্রের প্লাগ খুলে রাখুন।
১৩। জরুরি আলো, টর্চ ও ব্যাটারি আগে থেকেই প্রস্তুত রাখুন।
১৪। বজ্রঝড়ের সময় বৈদ্যুতিক খুঁটি বা ট্রান্সফরমারের কাছে আশ্রয় নেবেন না।
১৫। ভেজা বা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত বৈদ্যুতিক তার ব্যবহার করবেন না।
১৬। জল জমা এলাকায় বৈদ্যুতিক মোটর বা পানির পাম্প চালু করবেন না।
১৭। বৈদ্যুতিক মিটার বক্সে জল ঢুকলে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে বিদ্যুৎ বিভাগকে জানান।
১৮। বৃষ্টির সময় গবাদি পশুদের বৈদ্যুতিক সংযোগের নিচে বেঁধে রাখবেন না।
১৯। বজ্রপাতের সময় খোলা মাঠ, বড় গাছ বা বৈদ্যুতিক খুঁটির নিচে দাঁড়াবেন না।
২০। কেউ বিদ্যুৎস্পৃষ্ট হলে সাহায্য করার আগে বিদ্যুৎ সংযোগ বন্ধ করুন।
২১। স্থানীয় প্রশাসন ও বিদ্যুৎ বিভাগের সকল নিরাপত্তা নির্দেশনা মেনে চলুন।
২২। বন্যার জল নেমে যাওয়ার পর সব বৈদ্যুতিক সংযোগ ও যন্ত্রপাতি দক্ষ ইলেকট্রিশিয়ান দিয়ে পরীক্ষা করিয়ে নিন।
