Today Assam Cabinet decided on enhancing rate of DA/DR of State Government employees and pensioners from 53% to 55%. This will benefit more than be 7,38,000 employees/ pensioners in the State. Assam has become one of the first state in the country to provide 55% DA/DR in April itself.
