On the occasion of , ALIMCO observed the day across its Headquarters in Kanpur and all AAPCs, RMCs, and Regional Centres through plantation drives, awareness rallies, and environmental conservation activities.
CMD Shri Praveen Kumar reiterated that environmental protection is a collective responsibility and encouraged everyone to carry forward the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative. Employees and stakeholders at Kanpur, Bengaluru, Paharganj, and other centres pledged to adopt sustainable practices and contribute towards a greener future.

विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर एलिम्को के दिल्ली स्थित पाहाड़गंज केंद्र में वृक्षारोपण एवं पर्यावरण जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।

कार्यक्रम का नेतृत्व करते हुए श्री प्रवीण कुमार, अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक, एलिम्को ने जल संरक्षण, अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन, जिम्मेदार उपभोग एवं जलवायु संरक्षण के महत्व पर बल दिया तथा सभी अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों से पर्यावरण-अनुकूल जीवनशैली अपनाने का आह्वान किया।

इस अवसर पर वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया, जिसमें अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता की और पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संकल्प लिया। साथ ही, एलिम्को ने निगम एवं उसके विभिन्न केंद्रों में यथासंभव पर्यावरण-अनुकूल सामग्री के उपयोग को बढ़ावा देने का निर्णय भी लिया।

विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर भारतीय कृत्रिम अंग निर्माण निगम (एलिम्को) मुख्यालय, कानपुर में वृक्षारोपण, जागरूकता रैली एवं पर्यावरण संरक्षण संबंधी कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया।

इस वर्ष की थीम “प्रकृति से प्रेरित। जलवायु के लिए। हमारे भविष्य के लिए” के अनुरूप पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं सतत विकास का संदेश दिया गया।

कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत महिला कर्मचारियों एवं यूनियन प्रतिनिधियों को पौधे वितरित किए गए, जागरूकता रैली निकाली गई तथा एलिम्को परिसर में लगभग 100 पौधों का वृक्षारोपण किया गया। कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए श्री अतुल रुस्तगी, महाप्रबंधक (वित्त, सामग्री प्रबंधन एवं परियोजना) ने जलवायु परिवर्तन, बढ़ते तापमान तथा प्राकृतिक संसाधनों के संरक्षण की आवश्यकता पर बल देते हुए अधिकाधिक वृक्षारोपण एवं पर्यावरण अनुकूल जीवनशैली अपनाने का आह्वान किया।

इस अवसर पर कार्यक्रम में महाप्रबंधक (कार्मिक एवं प्रशासन) श्री संजीव अरोड़ा, महाप्रबंधक (इंचार्ज) श्री विवेक द्विवेदी, उपमहाप्रबंधक श्री आलोक ठाकुर, श्री ऋतेश श्रीवास्तव, श्री मनोज कुमार त्रिपाठी, श्री अनुपम प्रकाश सहित मान्यता प्राप्त यूनियन एलिम्को श्रमिक संगठन, तथा एलिम्को वर्कर्स यूनियन एवं एलिम्को मजदूर संघ के प्रतिनिधिगण, महिला कर्मचारीगण तथा बड़ी संख्या में अधिकारी, कर्मचारी एवं श्रमिक उपस्थित रहे।

Driven by an unwavering desire to regain independence and return to his agricultural work, he traveled nearly 250 km daily from Nalgonda to ALIMCO RMC Hyderabad for his prosthetic rehabilitation and fitment.
