ALIMCO The Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) is a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the Government of India.

Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) is a Schedule ‘B' Mini-Ratna Category II Central Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) Established on November 30, 1972, ALIMCO manufactures artificial limbs and rehabilitation aids. The company is headquartered in Kanpur. Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) is a non-profit making organization, working under the aegis of Govt. of India, under the ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (http://www.socialjustice.nic.in). It was incorporated in 1972 to take up manufacture and supply of artificial limb components and rehabilitation aids for the benefit of the physically handicapped and started production in 1976.

World Audiologist Day - Empowering Lives Through Better Hearing 👂

Every sound matters. Every voice deserves to be heard.

On the occasion of World Audiologist Day, 10 October 2026, ALIMCO organised a special programme at its APOC, Kanpur, celebrating the invaluable contribution of audiologists in improving hearing health and enhancing quality of life.

The programme commenced in the presence of the Shri Atul Rustagi, General Manager (Finance), Shri Sanjib Arora, General Manager (Personnel & Administration), Shri Shasi Kumar Tripathi, DGM (Marketing), Shri Manoj Tripathi , DGM (FA), Shri Chandra Kishore , SM (QC), Shri Ashish Singh , SM ( P&A), Shri Anurag , Manager (SAP) and other Senior officers of ALIMCO.

Highlights of the Programme

🔹 125 beneficiaries received free assistive devices worth approximately ₹16.50 lakh.

🔹 Senior citizens were provided with free hearing aids to support better communication and independent living.

🔹 Audiologists working at APOC, Kanpur, were felicitated in recognition of their dedicated services and valuable contributions.

Through such initiatives, ALIMCO reaffirms its commitment to empowering Divyangjan and senior citizens through accessible assistive technology, improved quality of life and greater social inclusion.

10 October 2026-World Audiologist Day observed at ALIMCO's Pradhan Mantri Divyasha-Vayoshri Kendras (PMDVKs) in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Sehore (Madhya Pradesh), celebrating the invaluable contribution of audiologists in promoting hearing health and improving quality of life.

ALIMCO remains committed to making assistive technology accessible and empowering Divyangjan and senior citizens to lead more independent, confident and fulfilling lives.

ALIMCO Celebrating Audiologists’ Day with a Commitment to Better Hearing and Inclusion!
On the occasion of Audiologists’ Day, ALIMCO reaffirmed its commitment to empowering individuals through improved access to assistive devices. A distribution drive was organised across four PMD-VK centres under RMC Delhi, bringing support and renewed hope to 230 beneficiaries.
📍 Centre-wise Beneficiary Details:
🔹 PMD-VK Paharganj: 65 beneficiaries
🔹 PMD-VK IPH: 55 beneficiaries
🔹 PMD-VK Meerut: 40 beneficiaries
🔹 PMD-VK Manesar: 70 beneficiaries
✨ Total Beneficiaries: 230
Through such initiatives, ALIMCO continues to advance accessibility, promote hearing health, and enhance the quality of life of Divyangjan and other beneficiaries by facilitating access to essential assistive devices.

एलिम्को के श्री दीपक कनौजिया ने भोपाल, मध्य प्रदेश में नेशनल राइफल एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया (NRAI) द्वारा आयोजित 0755 इंडिया ओपन शूटिंग प्रतियोगिता के पैरा इवेंट्स में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हुए तीन पदक हासिल किए।

🥇 स्वर्ण पदक – 50 मीटर 3P पोजीशन, SH1 श्रेणी
🥈 रजत पदक – 10 मीटर एयर राइफल स्टैंडिंग, SH1 श्रेणी
