*• Pioneering Alcohol-Free Tourism (2004-2012): In Chuikhim, Mallik spearheaded a movement towards an alcohol-free lifestyle. This not only fostered responsible tourism but also created a healthier and more sustainable environment for the community. Notably, it became the first such initiative in East Indian rural Himalayan communities (possibly nationwide) and was strictly maintained until Mallik's focus shifted to tourism development in other villages.
*• SHARE Health Point (Past Initiative): While no longer operational, the SHARE Health Point provided essential healthcare services to Chuikhim and neighboring villages for several years. This vital service was made possible through collaboration with Dr. Kalyan Acharya (Kolkata) and his medical team.
*• Sanitary Toilets in Chuikhim (Ongoing Success Story): Launched in 2005, this movement championed the construction of sanitary toilets in every Chuikhim household. Mallik's dedication, coupled with the community's positive response, resulted in a remarkable achievement – within a few years, all villagers had built their own toilets, significantly improving hygiene and sanitation.
*• Village-Based Products and Homestay Tourism (2004-2012): Empowering villagers is a core principle for Mallik. He actively promoted locally-crafted products and established homestay programs in Chuikhim, creating sustainable income sources for the community.

The inter-village football fests and talent search programs unearthed hidden gems – rural Himalayan talents who went on to play in prestigious 1st/Premier Division Clubs across various Kalimpong district villages. The immense popularity of the "SHARE Cup" has Mallik planning its grand return, hoping to secure sponsorship to revive this exciting rural Himalayan football festival.
* *SHARE Football Club (Founded 2011): This club, established by Mallik, has flourished into a top contender in the North Bengal Hills, now run by a passionate local committee of football enthusiasts.

*"Himalayan NEST (Nature Environment Society & Tourism)" Journal: Published a journal named "Himalayan Nest" focusing on nature, environment, society, and tourism. Although facing funding challenges, the three published issues stand as a testament to his commitment to environmental awareness.
*PK Mallik's SHARE initiative has successfully established a *Community Based Multi-Lingual Library* in Turuk village, Darjeeling district, in 2022-23. This unique library, entirely reliant on book donations from visitors and tourists, has been instrumental in creating a vast collection of multilingual books. The library serves dual purposes: enriching the tourist experience and fostering a love of reading among local youth.
However, due to space constraints in Turuk village, the library is set to relocate to a village with more ample space to accommodate the growing collection and facilitate better organization.
To further enhance the library's impact, SHARE plans to launch *SHARE LITERATURE*, an initiative to host literature meets in Himalayan villages. This platform aims to cultivate a literary environment for local youth with a passion for writing and reading.
