Today on 04.06.2026 Pedong PS successfully recovered the missing child from Jalpaiguri.

Today on 03.06.2026 at 07:45 hrs Kalimpong PS successfully recovered two missing children from Rousay Bajar Kalimpong.

Today on 02.06.2026 a Friendly Cricket Match was held between the Kalimpong District Police Cricket Team and the SSB 46th Battalion, Malbazar Cricket Team. The cricket match was played at the Cricket Ground of the SSB 46th Battalion and was watched by all senior officers of the SSB 46th Battalion. The Kalimpong District Police Cricket Team was led by Sh. Vikramjit Lama, SDPO Gorubathan. The SSB Cricket Team was led by Assistant Commandant Nikhil Wankhede. The match was held as part of a broader initiative for building camaraderie amongst uniformed forces. The cricket match was won by the SSB 46th Battalion Cricket Team.

As a part of ICJS project, today on 10.06.2026, an awareness program was conducted by Kalimpong District Police at Todey Jr High School under Jaldhaka PS jurisdiction to impart knowledge to the students on the provisions of the Child Marriage Act, POCSO Act and Shuddhi Project and human trafficking.

One unidentified body of a male, about 4.5 ft tall, has been recovered from the river at Reang PS jurisdiction. It bears the following tattoo marks.
