It gives paramount importance to education as the way of liberation and also as a solution to social deprivat

ions and evils. MSF emphasizes the need for communal amity and secular solidarity to save guard the rich composite culture of our great nation and also thrives to attain competency and excellence in all the spheres of national life. The history of MSF in PU begins in the 2015-16 academic year by forming its first unit committee. From there onwards, MSF stood for the students to protect their rights and to cater to their needs by channelizing it in front of the administration. MSF PU has carried out versatile programs and initiatives and plays a significant role in addressing student issues with student representatives from different schools and departments. MSF PU has always come up with various programs and initiatives, such as free NET Coaching and other programs that benefit students. MSF has always been there, to raise the voice by leading several protests and political movements addressing the issue of students of PU and against fascist and undemocratic matters in and around the nation. MSF PU has always stood for the welfare of the student community and continues to stand for the same.

On April 6, 2021, in Koothuparamba, Kannur, Mansoor (22), a dedicated activist of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), was brutally murdered on the day of the Kerala Assembly elections. His life was cut short in a shocking act of violence, where assailants linked to the Communist Party of India (CPIM) threw bombs to spread fear and then hacked him to death. Mansoor was more than a political worker he was a young voice of hope, commitment, and courage,

On his death anniversary, we remember Mansoor not just as a victim, but as a symbol of resistance against political brutality. His murder stands as a painful reminder of the dangers of intolerance and the urgent need to uphold democratic values. Mansoor’s memory lives on as a call to end violence, to protect political freedom, and to ensure that no more young lives are lost to hatred.

A legendary figure in Indian politics, the man who shaped the course of Muslim politics in post-independence India; msf PU remembers Qaid-e-Millath Muhammad Ismail Sahib on his 54th death anniversary.

He was the founder of the Indian Union Muslim League in 1948, which continues to serve as a torchbearer of Indian Muslim politics with dignity and an honourable existence.

As a member of the Constituent Assembly, he played a significant role in ensuring safeguards for marginalized communities within the Constitution.

He also served as a member of the Madras Legislative Assembly and as the Leader of the Opposition for six years. And he was a member of the Rajya Sabha for six years and the Lok Sabha for nine years.Quaid-e-Millat’s visionary leadership continues to be the guiding light for an inclusive and empowered India.

msf PU strongly condemns the shocking security failure at Narmada Hostel.

On one side, students are constantly harassed, stopped, and surveilled in the name of “security.” On the other, such dangerous incidents happen effortlessly.

This hypocrisy cannot continue. No more excuses. Students’ safety is non-negotiable. Measures must be taken to fix these breaches in the security.
