Chandipur Yuva Unnayan Club, in collaboration with ERC Eye Hospital, organized a Refractive Error and Cataract Screening Camp at Chandipur valley to promote eye health and awareness. A total of 80 patients were checked during the camp by experienced doctors and health staff. The screening focused on detecting refractive errors and cataract cases at an early stage. Some patients were provided spectacles at minimal cost to improve their vision, while those with cataract symptoms were referred for further treatment at the hospital. This initiative proved highly beneficial for villagers, reflecting the club’s dedication towards healthcare, social service, and community development.
