Great news, Kakinada! The Ministry of Railways has officially approved the regularization of FOUR popular special trains operating from Kakinada City.

No more waiting for "special" announcements—these services are now permanent, daily features of the regular railway timetable, confirmed on March 25, 2026. This decision is a direct result of representations made by Kakinada MP Tangella Uday Srinivas and confirmed by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

This change brings:
✅ Permanent daily availability.
✅ More reliable travel planning.
✅ Enhanced daily connectivity to Hyderabad (Lingampalli), Mysore, Hisar, and Rajahmundry.

The government took a decision to cut all the trees in 200 acres of Mada forest and making it in to a Housing zone.....its obviously harmful to the environment and to kakinada too... all the exotic species will be displaced or endangered.
