rritories , Chief Justice, Supreme Court, Income Tax Department & to all the Government agencies like (Vigilance Department, Crime Branch C.B.I. Raw, I.B, C.I.D,) Police and its Administration etc. CIB takes necessary steps to Investigate Crime & Corruption in the society, to find out white collar fraud, company fraud, Human Right Protection, child labour, Home violence, woman Protection, Bonded labour all Illegal works under Indian Penal Act & also aware public by organizing camps & seminars. Further, We are the private Investigators & Detectives as well who works in social field. We are aware of the tremendous responsibility and expectations that the people of the country have from us. ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਐਂਟੀ-ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਟਾਸਕ ਫੋਰਸ, ਪੰਜਾਬ (AGTF) ​​ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ ਨਗਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਲਾਰੈਂਸ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ-ਗੋਲਡੀ ਬਰਾੜ ਗੈਂਗ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਥੀ ਮਹਿਫੂਜ ਉਰਫ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਖਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਸਤੰਬਰ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਡੇਰਾ ਬੱਸੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਇੱਕ IELTS ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਦਾ ਮਾਸਟਰਮਾਈਂਡ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਫਰਾਰ ਸੀ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਟ੍ਰਾਈਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ 2023 ਤੋਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਗੋਲਡੀ ਬਰਾੜ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸਨੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਜੋਗਿੰਦਰ ਉਰਫ ਜੋਗਾ (HR) ਤੋਂ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੇਪ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਲੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਕੇਸ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸੰਗਠਿਤ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ।

In a major breakthrough, the Anti-Gangster Task Force, Punjab ( ), in a joint operation with SAS Nagar Police, apprehends Mehfuj @ Vishal Khan, an associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar gang.

Vishal was the mastermind behind the firing incident at an IELTS center in Dera Bassi in September 2024 and had been absconding since.

Preliminary investigations reveals he was planning to commit a crime in the Tricity. The arrested accused has a previous criminal history and, eversince 2023, he has been working on the directions of foreign-based terrorist Goldy Brar. He collected a weapons consignment from the notorious gangster Joginder @ Joga (HR), who had provided weapons and logistical assistance to those involved in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case and was also arrested in connection with that case.

Recovery: One pistol along with five live cartridges

remains committed to dismantling organized crime and ensuring public safety.

At CIB, your security is of utmost importance to us. We’ve observed increasing cases of cyber fraud where scammers impersonate representatives of service providers or law enforcement agencies. If you ever feel threatened or suspect a scam, contact the National Cyber Crime Reporting Helpline No.1930 immediately.

Here’s how scammers might try to trick you and how you can safeguard yourself.

How scammers operate:

Scammers may contact you via calls, SMS, WhatsApp, emails, or social media. They use various tactics, such as:

Intimidation: Threatening with “digital arrest” or claiming courier packages sent/received by you with illegal items.

Urgent Actions: Claiming your phone will be disconnected or bank accounts will be blocked.

Sensitive Information Requests: Demanding PAN, Aadhaar, bank details, UPI IDs, or OTPs.

App Downloads: Asking you to download apps that give them access to your device.

Fake Inquiries: Impersonating as fake buyers or representatives of courier delivery / food delivery to get personal details.

Social Media Scams: Fake profiles or messages asking for personal information or money.

Stay Safe with These Tips:

Avoid Unknown Links: Don’t click on unsolicited links or attachments.
Protect Personal Info: Never share OR confirm your personal details over the phone or messages to unknown people.

Guard Your OTPs: Never share OTPs with unknown people, even if urgent.

Be Cautious with Calls: Don’t answer video calls from unknown numbers.

Use Strong Passwords: Keep unique passwords and update them regularly.

Monitor Statements: Check bank/card statements regularly.

Report Suspicious Activity: Block and report suspicious contacts. Contact the National Cyber Crime Reporting Helpline No. 1930, if needed.

WhatsApp/SMS Scams Suspicious message asking for personal information.

Service Scam Calls Claims to be from a food delivery app and asks you to confirm your address.
OTP Scam Alert Asks for your OTP to cancel an order or ride.
Video Call Scams Video call from an unknown number.
Phishing Links Message with a suspicious blue link.
Official Notices Notice claiming to be from a government agency.
Social Media Scams Fake profiles/messages asking for personal information or money.
