Municipal high school, Kadapa This page is managed by Raja Sekhar Reddy Bandi. I passed out 10th class in 1989. It is one of the oldest institutions. The ground of the school was very big.

The school was started in 1857 as a part of Lord Macaulay's initiatives in education. In olden days there was a big board at the entrance which read ''MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL CUDDAPAH" beneath it 1957. Sometimes there used to be 6 cricket matches played at the same time. YSR ACA stadium was in limited use that time Cuddapah was the spelling then.The town was very peaceful with lot of greenery.
