All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur is recognised as a “Centre of Excellence (COE) for Tribal Health” by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. In order to address the health needs of the tribal people, a unique centre was conceptualized to holistically approach the health problems and devising a road map to address the gap using modern scientific tools. Therefore, a “Satellite centre

for Tribal Health and Research (STHR)” was established at Janjati Bhavan Abu Road in collaboration with the Tribal Area Development (TAD) Department, Govt. of Rajasthan and MLV Tribal Research & Training Institute, Udaipur and was funded by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. This centre is a unique initiative in the country with amalgamation of health care services and innovative research for tribal population in a participatory ecosystem whereby tribal people play significant role in navigating their own health issues as stakeholders. The featured initiatives of the centre included free of cost teleconsultation from AIIMS Jodhpur, scientific research on unmet health needs, validation and value addition of traditional healthcare practices, preserving the intellectual property rights of traditional tribal healers for their innovative knowledge and practices, awareness and training programmes in the villages and remote locations regarding prevention and management of prevalent diseases, mother and child health and implementing the tribal population specific health programmes at field level.

ढाणी स्वास्थ्य शिविर

एम्स जोधपुर के जनजातीय स्वास्थ्य एवं अनुसंधान केन्द्र, आबू रोड़ द्वारा 23-05-2026, शनिवार को स्वास्थ्य शिविर आयोजित किया गया है। यह शिविर फैमिली मेडिसिन विभाग के रेजिडेंट डॉक्टर, नर्सिंग स्टाफ और मेडिकल सोशल वर्कर्स की टीम द्वारा संचालित किया गया।

इसका उद्देश्य दूरदराज़ जनजातीय इलाकों में रहने वाले लोगों को प्राथमिक उपचार, स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा और आवश्यकतानुसार रेफरल सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराना है। इस शिविर में 25 लोगों का इलाज किया गया।

यह शिविर सिरोही जिले के शिवगंज ब्लॉक के फतापुरा गांव में आयोजित किया गया।

ढाणी स्वास्थ्य शिविर

एम्स जोधपुर के जनजातीय स्वास्थ्य एवं अनुसंधान केन्द्र, आबू रोड़ द्वारा 16-05-2026, शनिवार को स्वास्थ्य शिविर आयोजित किया गया है। यह शिविर फैमिली मेडिसिन विभाग के रेजिडेंट डॉक्टर, नर्सिंग स्टाफ और मेडिकल सोशल वर्कर्स की टीम द्वारा संचालित किया गया।

इसका उद्देश्य दूरदराज़ जनजातीय इलाकों में रहने वाले लोगों को प्राथमिक उपचार, स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा और आवश्यकतानुसार रेफरल सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराना है। इस शिविर में 25 लोगों का इलाज किया गया।

यह शिविर सिरोही जिले के शिवगंज ब्लॉक के भेव गांव में आयोजित किया गया।

The Satellite Centre for Tribal Health & Research-STHR, Abu Road under the AIIMS Jodhpur conducted a HARSH health camp on 14-05-2026 at Government Ashram Hostel, Siyawa, Abu Road.

The camp was carried out by a team of resident doctor from the of Family Medicine, AIIMS Jodhpur and STHR staff.
A total of 45 students were screened today and provided primary healthcare services, health education, necessary medicines, and referral support were provided as required.

This activity is part of HARSH–2026, supported by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, strengthening last-mile healthcare delivery in tribal areas.

ढाणी स्वास्थ्य शिविर

एम्स जोधपुर के जनजातीय स्वास्थ्य एवं अनुसंधान केन्द्र, आबू रोड़ द्वारा 09-05-2026, शनिवार को स्वास्थ्य शिविर आयोजित किया गया है। यह शिविर मेडिकल ऑफिसर, नर्सिंग स्टाफ और मेडिकल सोशल वर्कर्स की टीम द्वारा संचालित किया गया।

इसका उद्देश्य दूरदराज़ जनजातीय इलाकों में रहने वाले लोगों को प्राथमिक उपचार, स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा और आवश्यकतानुसार रेफरल सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराना है। इस शिविर में 43 लोगों का इलाज किया गया।

यह शिविर सिरोही जिले के शिवगंज ब्लॉक के बागसीन गांव में आयोजित किया गया।

The camp was carried out by a team of STHR staff.
A total of 44/60 class-6 students were screened today and provided primary healthcare services, health education, necessary medicines, and referral support were provided as required.

This activity is part of HARSH–2026, supported by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, strengthening last-mile healthcare delivery in tribal areas.

एम्स जोधपुर के जनजातीय स्वास्थ्य एवं अनुसंधान केन्द्र, आबू रोड़ द्वारा 02-05-2026, शनिवार को स्वास्थ्य शिविर आयोजित किया गया है। यह शिविर मेडिकल ऑफिसर, नर्सिंग स्टाफ और मेडिकल सोशल वर्कर्स की टीम द्वारा संचालित किया गया।

इसका उद्देश्य दूरदराज़ जनजातीय इलाकों में रहने वाले लोगों को प्राथमिक उपचार, स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा और आवश्यकतानुसार रेफरल सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराना है। इस शिविर में 24 लोगों का इलाज किया गया।

यह शिविर सिरोही जिले के शिवगंज ब्लॉक के अरठवाडा गांव में आयोजित किया गया।

इसका उद्देश्य दूरदराज़ जनजातीय इलाकों में रहने वाले लोगों को प्राथमिक उपचार, स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा और आवश्यकतानुसार रेफरल सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराना है। इस शिविर में 30 लोगों का इलाज किया गया।

यह शिविर सिरोही जिले के शिवगंज ब्लॉक के अंडोरे गांव में आयोजित किया गया।
