বিশ্ব পরিবেশ দিবস উপলক্ষে ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলা পুলিশ “একটি গাছ মায়ের নামে” এই অনুপ্রেরণাদায়ক মূলমন্ত্রকে সামনে রেখে জেলাজুড়ে বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচির আয়োজন করে।

পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ ও সবুজ ভবিষ্যৎ গড়ার অঙ্গীকারকে পুনর্ব্যক্ত করে জেলার বিভিন্ন থানা ও ইউনিটের উদ্যোগে ১,৫০০-রও বেশি চারা গাছ রোপণ করা হয়।

জেলা স্তরের এই কর্মসূচিতে উপস্থিত ছিলেন শ্রী মানব সিংলা, আইপিএস, পুলিশ সুপার, ঝাড়গ্রাম; বিধায়ক বিনপুর, বিধায়ক নয়াগ্রাম, বনদপ্তরের ঊর্ধ্বতন আধিকারিকগণ এবং ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলা পুলিশের অন্যান্য আধিকারিকবৃন্দ।

আজ রোপিত প্রতিটি গাছ আগামী প্রজন্মের জন্য এক অমূল্য উপহার।

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Jhargram District Police organised a district-wide tree plantation drive under the inspiring motto “একটি গাছ মায়ের নামে”.

More than 1,500 saplings were planted by various Police Stations and Units across the district, reaffirming our commitment to environmental conservation and a greener future.

The district-level programme was attended by Shri Manav Singla, IPS, SP Jhargram, the MLA Binpur, MLA Nayagram, senior forest officials, and other officers of Jhargram District Police.

Every tree planted today is a gift to future generations.

জমি সংক্রান্ত বিবাদের জেরে হামলা: অভিযুক্তের ৫ বছরের সশ্রম কারাদণ্ড

জমি নিয়ে বিবাদ আর তার জেরেই গুরুতর জখম হতে হয় স্বামীকে। মুর্শিদাবাদের রেজিনগর থানা এলাকার ঘটনা। রেহেনা বিবি নামের এক মহিলা লিখিত অভিযোগ দায়ের করেন যে, জমি বিবাদকে কেন্দ্র করে প্রতিবেশী মানজার শেখ তাঁর স্বামীকে প্রাণনাশের উদ্দেশ্যে গুরুতরভাবে আঘাত করে।

অভিযোগের ভিত্তিতে মামলা রুজু হয় রেজিনগর থানায়। ওই থানার তদন্তকারী অফিসার সাব-ইন্সপেক্টর মোঃ সাখাউদ্দিন দ্রুত তদন্ত শুরু করেন এবং নিরপেক্ষ তদন্ত শেষে অভিযুক্তের বিরুদ্ধে আদালতে চার্জশীট পেশ করেন।

দীর্ঘ বিচার প্রক্রিয়ার পর সম্প্রতি মামলার রায় বেরিয়েছে। মাননীয় আদালত অভিযুক্ত মানজার শেখকে দোষী সাব্যস্ত করে ৫ বছরের সশ্রম কারাদণ্ডে দণ্ডিত করেন। পাশাপাশি আদালত অভিযুক্তের উপর আর্থিক জরিমানাও আরোপ করেছেন।

Jhargram District Police today organised a Summer Safety Kit Distribution Programme for traffic personnel at Five Point Morh, Jhargram town, with the generous support of State Bank of India under its CSR initiative.

The programme was attended by Shri Manav Singla, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Jhargram; Shri Lakshmikanta Sau, Hon’ble MLA, Jhargram; Regional Manager, SBI; Addl. SP (HQ); Addl. SP (Operations); and other senior officers of Jhargram District Police.

In recognition of the dedicated service rendered by traffic personnel while performing duties under extreme heat and adverse weather conditions, essential safety kits comprising umbrellas, raincoats, water bottles, reflective jackets, sunglasses, towels, bags, ORS and masks were distributed among personnel across the district. A total of 500 safety kits were distributed throughout Jhargram district under this initiative.

The programme reflects the commitment of Jhargram District Police towards the welfare, safety and well-being of its personnel. Similar distribution programmes were also organised simultaneously by all Police Stations across the district for personnel engaged in traffic duties.
