Tufail Hussain Ch condemns dismantling of Tribal houses in Roop Nagar
JAMMU, January 11, 2022: Apni Party State General Secretary Youth Wing Tufail Hussain Chowdhary has strongly condemned the selective approach of targeting tribal families in Jammu by the Jammu Development Authority.
In his reaction to the demolition of the houses of the poor families, Chowdhary said that it is really unfortunate to see the people suffering when the LG administration claims to be working for the welfare of all without discrimination.
“Their partial approach is highly questionable. The JDA is working in the direction of a political party which stands on divisive politics,” he said.
He said that “We will not continue to remain silent to the suffering of the tribal community which needs a humanitarian approach to address their issues.”
He said that “The tribal community was promised political upliftment and protection of their rights, but the ground situation shows something else.”
“Their houses are dismantled and their families are displaced with no hope of resettlement. Their cattles are made shelter-less,” he added.
