In continuation to waste segregation system Department of Environmental Science, Government Degree
College for Women Anantnag under the leadership of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Khalida
Hassan organized a Waste Management Awareness Campaign to promote responsible
waste management practices among students, staff and other stakeholders.
As part of the campaign, informative brochures prepared by the J&K DEERS-EIACP
Hub were distributed among students and stakeholders. Awareness posters highlighting
source waste segregation, proper disposal of waste, recycling and environmental
responsibility were displayed at prominent locations across the college campus and
nearby public areas
