Nehpreet Kaur of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has bagged 2nd position in the University exams of Master of Science in Information Technology III Semester by getting 8.36 SGPA out of 10 whereas Palak bagged 3rd position by getting 8.27 SGPA. This information was given in a press release by the Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur and Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu congratulated the students and wished them success in life. He said that students who come in special positions or merit in the university examinations are also given special facilities. Lyallpur Khalsa College offers prayer of thanks at the Gurdwara Sahib of the college for the alumnus Gurindervir Singh's national record breaking in the 100-meter race

The name of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, shone in the whole world when Gurindervir Singh, an alumnus of the college, completed the 100-meter race in 10.9 seconds, creating a new national record. Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu congratulated Gurindervir Singh and informed that a prayer of thanks was offered at the Gurdwara Sahib of the college for this feat of Gurindervir Singh. During the prayer, Principal, heads of all departments, professors, staff members and a large number of students wished for him to make great strides at the global level in the future. Principal Dr.Sandhu congratulated Dean Sports Dr. S.S. Bains, specially congratulated Gurindervir Singh's parents, coach Sarabjit Singh Happy and the Dept. of Physical Education & Sports for their support and wise guidance that made him achieve this glory. Expressing his happiness, Dr. Sandhu said that this is a very proud moment for the college. By practicing in the college grounds, Gurindervir Singh has set a new record in the history of India. Gurindervir Singh obtained his bachelors degree from Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar (2018-2021). He took admission in PGDCA in 2021-22. Principal Dr. Sandhu opined that students like Gurindervir Singh should be role models for youngsters who bring glory to themselves, the institution and the state. On this occasion, Sardarni Balbir Kaur Ji, President of the Governing Council of Lyallpur Khalsa College Educational Institutions, congratulated Gurindervir Singh and wished him a better future. The President also congratulated the Principal and the entire staff of Department of Physical Education & Sports and said that we are always proud of students like Gurindervir Singh, whose proud achievements bring glory to the college. The Principal demanded from the Government of Punjab and India that a diamond like Gurindervir Singh be supported in every way so that he can achieve even greater achievements. Lyallpur Khalsa College is carving its own niche in fields of academics, sports and co-curricular activities. Recently, M.A. Political Science Semester-I students of the college have performed marvellously in Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar exams.
