12th International Day of Yoga @ RGIPT

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) celebrated the 12th International Day of Yoga on 21 June 2026 with great enthusiasm near the Statue of Swami Vivekananda. Organized by the Student Sports Council, the event was held under the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing”, declared by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Faculty members, staff, and students actively participated in the yoga session, promoting health, wellness, mindfulness, and holistic living.

📢 Day 3 Highlights | 18th Summer School on Tribology

CSIR–NAL Technical Visit
As part of the ongoing 18th Summer School on Tribology (15–19 June 2026), participants visited the Materials Engineering and Surface Engineering Divisions of CSIR–National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bengaluru.

The participants interacted with CSIR–NAL scientists, explored state-of-the-art research facilities, and gained valuable exposure to advanced materials characterization, surface engineering, coating technologies, and indigenous technologies being developed for aerospace and strategic applications.

The visit provided first-hand insights into cutting-edge research and highlighted the role of materials and surface engineering in addressing real-world tribological challenges. The interactive sessions with scientists were highly appreciated by the participants and enriched their learning experience.
