They played not just for a trophy,
but for every girl who dared to dream.
For every woman who carried courage quietly,
and for every generation that will now believe;
This is what happens when women decide,
they turn struggle into strength,
and every field into a place of victory.
They lift homes, hearts, and hopes.
As Team India’s women lift the World Cup,
we celebrate them. Not just as champions of cricket,
but as symbols of everything India can be when its women rise.
Today, we dedicate our anthem, “Aurat hai toh Bharat hai”
to these incredible women who make the nation proud.

Women’s day holds a special meaning for us – not just because of our guiding principle - ‘Aurat Hai Toh Bharat Hai’, not just because we believe that women are innately empowered but because we learn and draw inspiration from them - everywhere, everyday.

Last year, we started the Shakti Drive initiative – a unique co-learning event where urban women leaders meet their rural counterparts for a day of learning about one another’s lives, loves, hopes & dreams.

This year, we launched our ‘Shakti program’ - our grassroots women’s leadership program with a ‘Matkathon’ where urban & rural women walked together with matkas over their heads to bring to light the burden on rural women to spend 4-8 hours a day collecting potable water, ending with planting a fruit & vegetable patch as a testament to our commitment to creating an equitable world for all women!
We feel immense gratitude for the women who came from across India to our event and also those who supported us last year to bring together this beautiful experience.

Happy Women’s day!

Rajasthani women inspiring minds globally!

“How bees take nectar from different flowers and it collects into sweet honey at the beehive, similarly I take inspiration from all around me to weave a beautiful piece of art.”

Beautiful words by Kamli Devi, the grassroots Rajasthani designer of the rug that was one of the inspirations for the leheriya design on RajasthanRoyals jersey.
Kamli devi has been weaving stories through her rugs for the last 15 years. With her keen observation skills, Kamli wove in mountains, ladoos and jhumka apart from the leheriya design in her rug.

Kamli Devi participated in the Social Innovation & Design lab initiative of Jaipur Rugs Foundation in collaboration with the foundation.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, we are delighted to share with you our new programme with Centre for microFinance

RRF in collaboration with Centre for microFinance have been working on creating awareness on Menstrual health & hygiene amongst women & adolescent girls and the LGBTQIA+ Community. We aim to achieve gender inclusivity & also address the stigma surrounding Menstruation by promoting safe & healthy Menstrual hygiene practices.

To celebrate Women's Day, CmF
organized cricket matches with women who have no prior experience of holding a bat, at our project location as ice breakers which enabled the women to have open & honest discussion about the taboos related to MHM. Women were glad to attend the event as they were able to showcase their creativity through colorful & insightful posters & rangoli.
