Disha Tiwari is currently running a mission ‘No Smoking’ in which she along with her family and friends convey a message about stop smoking and consumption of to***co. The mission was started with the tragic death of her grandfather due to smoking and to***co. Back then she was only 5 years old. We encourage people to leave to***co and pursue a healthy life. We take records of this by taking the p
erson’s name, email, and their promise and often try to contact them and take note weather they still remember their promise or not.
1.There are almost 40,000 people in our record since 2008.
2.We conduct awareness campaigns, social rallies, nukkad natak at public places, dance and dramas – to spread our message in a unique way through which people would understand.
3. Every year on 31st of May we conduct one such event on account of “World No To***co Day”.
4.We have also successfully conducted 2 donation drives in 2020 where we collected old clothes, grains, sweets, money for charity and donated it in the tribal areas of M.P. We reach out the owners of the local pan shops and request them to warn their customers about the ill effects of to***co and find a positive response. We publish short stories books which involved moral giving stories for young minds related to bad addictions of to***co. Before covid, our team went to Indore Malwa Utsav to aware people for social distancing and masks. Afterwards in 2020 and the next, keeping lockdown in mind we went online to spread our messages through platforms like YouTube and Instagram, we posted content like short films and tried to reach people through it.
