Our fallen soldiers are not merely names etched on memorials; they are the living spirit of our motherland. Their courage reminds us that freedom comes at a price, and that the peace we cherish today was protected by those who were willing to give tomorrow for us.
We may never know the full measure of their sacrifice, nor can words ever truly repay the debt we owe them. But we can honour their memory by living with courage, compassion, unity, and responsibility.

This waypoint will serve as a lasting tribute to the 23 brave warriors who fought against the British in the 1981 anglo-manipur war and were later deported to Andaman Nicobar Island as prisoners of war
