In the financial year 2024-25, was allotted ₹ 1,27,469.88 crores — a five-fold increase over the ₹ 29,687 crores allotted for the fiscal year 2013–14.
🍚Food grain production has increased from 265.95 million tonnes in 2013-14 to a record 329.69 million tonnes in 2022-23, which is the highest ever food grain production.
📈The agriculture sector witnessed an emphatic growth in the export of agri & allied commodities, an increase from 50.24 billion US$ in 2021-22 to 53.15 billion US$ in 2022-23.
📈GoI has increased the for all mandated , Rabi & other commercial crops with a return of at least 50 percent over all India weighted average cost of production from 2018-19.
📈Under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, 5,696.8 lakh farmer applications have been insured since 2016-17 with a total of ₹ 1,54,469 crores paid as claims to farmers.

📈GoI is providing institutional credit for the agriculture sector through KCC to farmers at 4% interest per annum to meet short-term working capital needs.
Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY) & Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCDNER) cater to the promotion of organic farming in the country. About 16.19 lakh farmers have benefited till now.
To mobilize a medium-long term debt financing facility for investment in agri infrastructure, Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) of Rs 1 lakh crores was launched in 2020 with an interest subvention of 3% per annum up to a limit of 2 crores.
Under Per Drop More Crop, 83.49 lakh ha of area has been covered which is about 81% higher as compared to the Pre-PDMC with an increased budgetary corpus.
