A complaint was received from a woman resident of **Gangabowli, Mangalhat**, alleging persistent physical and mental cruelty by her husband, **Shanker Singh (41), an Auto Driver**. Upon receiving the complaint, officers of Mangalhat Police Station responded without delay, ensured that the victim received timely medical assistance, registered the case, and conducted the investigation in accordance with law.

The accused was produced before the **Hon'ble II Special Judicial Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad**, in **S.T. Case No. 3534/2026**. After due judicial proceedings, the Hon'ble Court convicted the accused and sentenced him to **15 days of Simple Imprisonment**, and he has been committed to **Central Prison, Chanchalguda**, to undergo the sentence.

**HONESTY HONOURED | LOST GOLD ORNAMENTS RESTORED TO RIGHTFUL OWNER**

On 30.06.2026, a petition was received at Mangalhat Police Station from Smt. Ganga Sagar (W/o Ambadas), who had travelled from Bidar to Hyderabad via Nampally. While proceeding towards Mangalhat, she accidentally left her handbag containing approximately 40–50 grams of gold ornaments and other valuables in an auto-rickshaw after getting down near Vidya High School, Mangalhat.

Immediately upon receipt of the complaint, under the guidance of Inspector of Police Sri S. Raghavendra, SI Smt. Anusha and the Crime Team initiated prompt efforts to trace the auto-rickshaw by verifying CCTV footage from the surrounding area.

Meanwhile, in a remarkable act of honesty and civic responsibility, the auto-rickshaw driver, **Mr. Syed Shabeer (S/o Syed Ismail, aged 38 years, R/o Musheerabad)**, noticed the unattended handbag in his vehicle and voluntarily brought it to Mangalhat Police Station. The handbag, along with all the gold ornaments and valuables, was handed over safely to the police.

The recovered property was verified and restored to the rightful owner. In appreciation of his exemplary integrity, Inspector Sri S. Raghavendra, SI Smt. Anusha and the police staff felicitated Mr. Syed Shabeer at Mangalhat Police Station for his commendable honesty.

This incident reflects that honesty, integrity and humanity continue to inspire confidence in our society. Hyderabad City Police appreciates Mr. Syed Shabeer for setting an outstanding example of responsible citizenship.

ఏడేళ్ల బాలికను లైంగిక దాడి నుంచి సమయస్ఫూర్తితో రక్షించిన దంపతులను హైదరాబాద్ పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ శ్రీ వీసీ సజ్జనర్, ఐపీఎస్ గారు అభినందించారు. బషీర్‌బాగ్‌లోని సీపీ కార్యాలయంలో శనివారం కొల్లాటి రమేష్, మువ్వాలమ్మ దంపతులను ఆయన శాలువాతో సత్కరించి, నగదు పురస్కారాన్ని అందజేశారు.

ఈ నెల 25వ తేదీ మధ్యాహ్నం బోరబండ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ పరిధిలో ఆడుకుంటున్న ఓ ఏడేళ్ల చిన్నారికి రూ.20 ఇస్తానని ఆశ చూపి, మహ్మద్ శంషుద్దీన్ (60) అనే రిక్షా కార్మికుడు తన రిక్షాపై ఎక్కించుకొని వెళ్లాడు. ఓ నిర్మానుష్య ప్రాంతానికి తీసుకెళ్లి ఆమెపై లైంగిక దాడికి యత్నించాడు. ఈ క్రమంలో స్థానికంగా నివసించే రమేష్, మువ్వాలమ్మ దంపతులు నిందితుడి దుశ్చర్యను గమనించి తక్షణమే స్పందించారు. నిందితుడి బారి నుంచి బాలికను సురక్షితంగా రక్షించడమే కాకుండా, డ‌య‌ల్ 100 ద్వారా పోలీసులకు సమాచారం అందించారు. సమాచారం అందుకున్న వెంటనే పోలీసులు సంఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకుని నిందితుడు మహ్మద్ శంషుద్దీన్‌ను అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. నిందితుడిపై పోక్సో చట్టంతో పాటు ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ అట్రాసిటీ సెక్షన్ల కింద కేసు నమోదు చేసి అరెస్ట్ చేశారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా సీపీ శ్రీ వీసీ సజ్జనర్, ఐపీఎస్ గారు మాట్లాడుతూ.. సమాజంలో నేరాల నియంత్రణకు పౌరుల భాగస్వామ్యం ఎంతో అవసరమన్నారు. ఇటువంటి అకృత్యాలకు అడ్డుకట్ట వేయాలంటే పోలీసుల నిఘాతో పాటు పౌరుల అప్రమత్తత కూడా అంతే ముఖ్యమ‌న్నారు. ''మన చుట్టుపక్కల ఏం జరుగుతుందో గమనిస్తూ ప్రతి పౌరుడూ సామాజిక బాధ్యతతో వ్యవహరించాలి. ఎక్కడైనా అనుమానాస్పద వ్యక్తులు లేదా అసాధారణ పరిస్థితులు కనిపిస్తే తక్షణమే డ‌య‌ల్ 100 కి కాల్ చేసి పోలీసులకు సమాచారం అందించాలి. ఆపదలో ఉన్న చిన్నారిని కాపాడటంలో రమేష్, మువ్వాలమ్మ దంపతులు చూపిన చొరవ, సమయస్ఫూర్తి ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ ఆదర్శం కావాలి" అని అన్నారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో జూబ్లీహిల్స్ డీసీపీ రమణా రెడ్డి, బోరబండ ఎస్‌హెచ్‌ఓ ఇన్‌స్పెక్టర్ సురేందర్, ఇతర పోలీస్ అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
