As part of ARRIVE ALIVE CAMPAIGN – 2026 launched by The Director General of Police, Telangana State wherein a state-wide road safety awareness campaign is scheduled from 13.01.2026 to 24.01.2026 with the objective of reducing road accidents and promoting safe driving practices among the public. On 21-01-2026 as part of the ARRIVE ALIVE CAMPAIGN – 2026 Day-6, I, P. Srikanth Reddy, Inspector of Police, P.S. Tukaramgate, along with Sub-Inspectors conducted a press meet with news reporters to create public awareness on traffic rules and road safety precautions. During the interaction, I emphasized the importance of following traffic signals, wearing helmets and seat belts, avoiding drunk driving, overspeeding, and mobile phone usage while driving. Citizens were advised to follow lane discipline, give way to emergency vehicles, and ensure proper documents while driving. The press was requested to spread awareness among the public to reduce road accidents and ensure safe and disciplined traffic movement. The police appealed to all citizens to strictly follow traffic rules and cooperate with law enforcement agencies to prevent road accidents and save lives.
