Cyber Crime Awareness Programme and Door-to-Door Campaign was conducted at Jama Masjid, imlibun, Madina Nagar under Rein Bazar PS limits. The programme was carried out by SHO Ch. Nethaji Inspector of police along with WSI Priyanka, BC staff and Patrol Car staff to create awareness on cyber frauds and preventive measures.

Safety first – Follow traffic rules, save lives
Today i.e on 23.01.2025 Rein Bazar PS staff interacted with two-wheeler riders, auto drivers, car drivers, pedestrians, and the general public, and created awareness on the importance of following traffic rules and regulations. Special emphasis was laid on the use of helmets for two-wheeler riders, seat belts for four-wheeler drivers, avoiding over-speeding, drunken driving, wrong-side driving, and the dangers of using mobile phones while driving.

Brief of the Case:

On 14-01-2026 at about 03:30 hours, while Sri G. Linga Raju, Sub-Inspector of Police, PS Rein Bazar, was present at the police station, he received credible information that two persons were illegally possessing and selling Prohibited Chinese Manja Bobbins (Mono Gold – Synthetic Thread) at H.No. 17-3-307/47, Murtuza Nagar, Yakuthpura, Hyderabad.

After informing superior officers and obtaining necessary instructions, the SI secured the presence of mediators and, along with police staff, conducted a raid at the said location. On seeing the police, the suspects attempted to flee from the spot but were apprehended.

They were identified as:

Hussain Agha, S/o Mirza Mohammed Abbas, Age: 37 yrs, Occ: Business, R/o Yakuthpura, Hyderabad.

Syed Sadiq Hussain Jaffery, S/o Syed Mujtaba Hussain Jaffery, Age: 35 yrs, Occ: Zomato Delivery Boy, R/o Edibazar, Hyderabad.

After serving search proceedings and conducting a search in the presence of mediators, the police recovered four (04) carton boxes containing 191 Prohibited Chinese Manja Bobbins, valued at approximately ₹1,00,000/-, from their possession.

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐌𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 – 𝐒𝐞𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤 & 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 ₹𝟓 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐬.

On 01.10.2025, Commissioner’s Task Force, South-East Zone, Hyderabad, along with Bandlaguda Police, raided a unit styled as Masarath Mehendi at Mustafa Hills, Ghouse Nagar, Bandlaguda. One accused, Mohd Abdul Waseem (54), was apprehended for illegally manufacturing duplicate Karachi Mehendi cones.

A total of 10,800 duplicate cones, 12,000 empty cones, 24 boxes, 26 tape machines, 2 filling machines, a weighing machine, tapes and a mobile phone were seized, all worth about ₹5,00,000/-. The accused, though licensed to manufacture Masarath Mehendi, produced fake Karachi Mehendi cones to exploit market demand and gain illegal profits.

The raid was conducted under the supervision of Sri S. Saidababu, Inspector, South-East Zone Task Force, with the assistance of SIs K. Rama Rao, M. Madhu, PCs P.N. Srikanth and team, along with Bandlaguda Police.
