Honored and grateful to be featured in one of the leading News Papers in India.

The Indian Express on March 1st during Women’s Day week.

This recognition is not just about me — it represents the journey of Jagathi Foundation and the countless women, girl students, and communities we work with every day.

From leaving my IT career to dedicating my life to social impact, the journey has been challenging yet deeply fulfilling.

Every initiative — from health awareness to education and women empowerment — is driven by one belief: real change begins when we choose to uplift others.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey. This feature motivates us to continue working harder to build a healthier and more empowered society. Also would like to see more women to be recognized building a nation with more stronger women in the society.

చిన్న పల్లెటూరు…
పచ్చని పంట పొలాలు…
పసిడి పంటలు…
ఒక ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాల…
చిరునవ్వులు చిందించే బాల్యం…

అమాయకత్వం, ఆత్మవిశ్వాసం కలగలిసిన ఒక చిన్నారి
ఏదో సాధించాలనే కలలతో ఆ పాఠశాలలో చదువుతోంది.

కానీ…

“ఆడపిల్లకి చదువు ఎందుకో?” అని ప్రశ్నించే గ్రామస్తులు…
“ఆడపిల్ల అంటే 'ఆడ' పిల్లే" అని, పెళ్లే లక్ష్యం” అని భావించే తల్లిదండ్రులు…
దిశా నిర్దేశం చేసే ఉపాధ్యాయులు ఉన్నా…

ఇలాంటి పరిస్థితుల్లో,ధైర్యంగా నిలబడి
“నేను చదువుకుంటాను” అని చెప్పలేని
ఆత్మన్యూనతతో అలమటిస్తున్న ఒక సమయంలో…

నా మాటలు తనకు స్ఫూర్తినిచ్చాయని,
కొండంత ధైర్యం నింపాయని చెబుతూ,
తాను అనుకున్న లక్ష్యానికి తప్పక చేరుకుంటానని చెప్పింది.

తనపై వేసిన “బాలిక” సంకెళ్లను తెంచుకుని,
దగ్గరకు వచ్చి ప్రేమగా ముద్దుపెట్టిన ఆ చిన్నారి ప్రేమ…

నాకు నిజమైన “వాలెంటైన్ డే”ని గుర్తుచేసింది.

అదే నిజమా? అయితే

ఇలాంటి ఎందరో ఆడపిల్లలకి ఆసరాగా నిలబడటం,
వారి కలలకు అండగా ఉండటం —
అదే నా నిజమైన ప్రేమ.
అదే నా ఆనందం.
అదే నా జీవిత పరమార్థం

A small village…
Lush green fields…
Golden harvests…
A government school…
Childhood filled with innocent smiles and unknown future…

A young girl, where innocence and confidence blend together,
studies in that school, dreaming of achieving something meaningful and impactful in life.

But…

Villagers who question, “Why does a girl need education?”
Parents who believe, “A girl is just a girl — marriage is her only goal.”
Even when there are teachers to guide her…

In such circumstances,
at a time when she struggles with self-doubt
and cannot gather the courage to stand firm and say,
“I will study”…

Instantly, She told me that my words inspired her,
that they filled her with mountain-like courage,
and that she will surely reach the goal she has set for herself.

Breaking the chains placed upon her in the name of “just a girl,”
she came close and gave me a Heartfelt kiss —
that innocent affection…

It reminded me of my real Valentine’s Day.

Isn’t that the truth of true Love....?

If so,
standing as support for many such girls,
being the strength behind their dreams —

That is my true love.
That is my joy.
That is the purpose of my life. ❤️
