Bangalore Chennai expressway has been delayed by a year and it's been expected to be opened by early 2027.
Karnataka section- 100% completed
Andhra section -92%
Tamil Nadu-80%

Major problems are from Tamil Nadu section due land acquisition problems forest clearance and Contractor financial bankruptcy few packages are been struggling to complete.

Expressway is designed for 120kmph speed , initially designed for 4 lane expandable upto 8 lane.
It'll reduce from current travell time from 5-6 hrs to 2-3 hrs improving logistics and industrial development across 3 states.

21km section of Bengaluru satellite ring road linking Hoskote to Hosur will be opened for traffic by March 2025.
By this section opening a total of 102km of STRR will be operational out of 284km ring. Another 182km of ring road is under various stages of construction and tendering it'll be completed in another two years.
This ring road will be connected to upcoming Bengaluru - Chennai, Bengaluru - vijaywada & Bengaluru Mysore expressway which will divert major traffic moving from Bengaluru to ring road.
