It is also known as Kerala Piravi after the word “piravi” which means birth. Kerala Piravi therefore literally means the birth of Kerala. This day is observed to mark the date on which Malayalam-speaking regions were unified into one state.

കൈരളി സമാജം യൂത്ത് വിംഗിന്റെ നേത്യത്വത്തില്‍ തിരുവോണത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് ഇന്ന് നടന്ന ഓണ്‍ലൈന്‍ പൂക്കളമത്സരത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്ത എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും വിജയികളായവര്‍ക്കും കൈരളി സമാജത്തിന്റെ അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങള്‍ അറിയിച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നു.

ഓണമെന്നും ആഘോഷഭരിതമാകുന്നത് ആരോഗ്യകരമായ ഇത്തരം മത്സരങ്ങളിലൂടെയാണ്. പക്ഷേ നിലവിലെ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ നേരിട്ടൊരു മത്സരം അസാധ്യമായതിനാലാണ് നമ്മള്‍ ഇത്തരമൊരു മത്സരം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. ഇതിനു പിന്നില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച യൂത്ത് വിംഗ് ഭാരവാഹികള്‍ക്ക് അഭിനന്ദനമറിയിക്കുന്നതോടൊപ്പം ഓരോ പൂക്കളത്തേയും വിശദമായി വിലയിരുത്തി മാര്‍ക്കു നല്കിയ ജഡ്ജിംഗ് പാനലിനുള്ള നന്ദിയുമറിയിക്കുന്നു.

We Kairali Samajam youth wing is conducting a virtual pookalam competition for Hosur Malayalee's on our Thiruonam divasam 21-08-2021. I personally request you all to be a part of it and submit all your entries by 11 am.
