As per the guidelines issued by the Hon'ble Chief Secretary, Local Government Department, in order to rectify the impact of floods on cleanliness, sanitation and other public facilities in the city, the Commissioners of all Municipal Corporations have been instructed to restore these public facilities within 10 days from 14.09.2025 to 23.09.2025. In this, especially in view of the compliance of the orders received for the 10-day cleaning campaign, on the First day of this cleaning campaign, on 14.09.2025, on the first day of this cleaning campaign, events were held regarding cleaning of the Bhangi Chow, filling of potholes, cleaning of grass, repairing of lights and removal of encroachments along the Chow.Honorable MLA from Hoshiarpur Mr. Brahm Sankar Jimpa, Mayor Municipal Corporation Surinder Kumar and other councilors etc. were present to participate in this event. In which they appreciated the initiative being taken by the Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur and instructed to coordinate with other departments related to Bhangi Chow and complete the work.
