राष्ट्रीय अभियान “उर्वरकों के संतुलित उपयोग” के अंतर्गत आईसीएआर-एनबीपीजीआर क्षेत्रीय केंद्र, भवाली द्वारा 27 मई 2026 को सिरोड़ी ग्राम सभा में प्राकृतिक खेती विषय पर किसान गोष्ठी आयोजित की गई। कार्यक्रम में किसानों को प्राकृतिक खेती, मृदा स्वास्थ्य प्रबंधन, उर्वरकों के संतुलित उपयोग एवं जैविक आदानों के महत्व के बारे में जानकारी दी गई। यह कार्यक्रम डॉ. राहुल देव के मार्गदर्शन में आयोजित हुआ, जिसमें डॉ. ममता आर्या, श्री दयाल सिंह, तकनीकी अधिकारी श्री गोपाल सिंह, तकनीकी अधिकारी एवं श्री गिरीश चंद्र, तकनीशियन की सक्रिय सहभागिता रही। गोष्ठी में कुल 22 किसानों, जिनमें 13 महिला किसान शामिल थीं, ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान किसानों के साथ संवाद स्थापित करते हुए पर्यावरण-अनुकूल कृषि तकनीकों तथा स्थानीय परिस्थितियों के अनुरूप जैव-आदानों की तैयारी एवं उपयोग पर विस्तृत चर्चा की गई ।

On the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity, a Kisan Goshthi on Natural Farming was organized by ICAR-NBPGR Regional Station, Bhowali under the “Balanced Use of Fertilizers” campaign at Bhowali Gaon. A total of 32 farmers participated in the programme, including 17 male and 15 female farmers.

The programme focused on creating awareness about biodiversity conservation, sustainable agriculture, organic and natural farming practices, and balanced nutrient management. Technical leaflets prepared by the station on various components of natural farming and preparation methods of these formulations were also distributed among the participating farmers to promote eco-friendly and sustainable agricultural practices.

A farmers’ meeting was successfully organized under the “Intensive Campaign on Balanced Fertilizer Use” awareness programme at Sirodi Village, Bhowali, District Nainital (Uttarakhand) on 08 May 2026. The programme witnessed the active participation of 18 farmers from the region, where awareness was created regarding the importance of balanced fertilizer application for sustainable agriculture, improved soil health, and enhanced crop productivity

On 04.04.2026, ICAR-NBPGR, Bhowali showcased rich crop diversity during the 52nd Kisan Mela at ICAR-VPKAS, Almora.
The exhibition was visited by Dr. M. L. Jat along with DDG Crop Science and Director ICAR NBPGR Dr. D.K Yadav, and DDG Extension Dr. Rajvir Singh, Dr. Laxmi Kant Director ICAR-VPKAS alongwith other senior officials
