Established in 1958, IGMRI is dedicated to applied research, adv

anced training, and capacity-building in the field of scientific storage, handling, and preservation of foodgrains. With regional field stations at Ludhiana and Hyderabad, the institute focuses on minimizing post-harvest losses and promoting best practices suited to Indian agro-climatic conditions. Over the decades, IGMRI has trained thousands of officials from FCI, CWC, SWCs, State Civil Supplies Corporations, and agricultural institutions, contributing significantly to India’s food security and post-harvest management.

The Valedictory Function of STTC-04 on “Storage Pest Management and Fumigation” was successfully conducted at IGMRI, Hapur.

The programme equipped trainees with valuable knowledge and practical skills in storage pest management, fumigation and scientific foodgrain storage practices.
