Nature surprised us today at our Kalghatgi - Mundgod Highway 🛣️ 🌧️❄️
What looked like snowfall was actually a rare and intense hailstorm (ಆಲಿಕಲ್ಲು ಮಳೆ) that covered the ground like snow!! 😳

This happens when strong thunderstorms push water droplets high into freezing temperatures, forming ice balls that fall as hail.

Today’s hail was unusually heavy and widespread — something we don’t see often here.

Moments like this remind us how powerful and unpredictable nature can be 🌿

7:00 AM on the Haliyal–Dharwad road… and nature decided to surprise us. 🌨️

Nearly 30 km connecting Haliyal and Dharwad, but mornings like this make the journey feel magical. Cold breeze, mist floating over the road, and unbelievable scenes you rarely witness.

Sometimes the best therapy is just an early morning drive on our Haliyal roads. ❤️
