Kendriya Vidyalaya Haldia

Kendriya Vidyalaya Haldia KV IOC Haldia is about 100 Km away from Kolkata. This Vidyalaya was established in the year 1986 u Kendriya Vidyalaya I.O.C. There are three KVs in abroad too.

Kendriya Vidyalaya is a part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of HRD. The schools are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. Haldia is one of the several Kendriya Vidyalayas all over the country. This Vidyalaya was established in the year 1986 under the noble guidance of Mr S. N. Sarkar, Executive Director, Haldia Refinery, IOC Ha

ldia who was the first Chairman, VMC with Sri K.Jha - Principal of this Vidyalaya. Initially it was up to class-VI level. Now it is a full fledged school running with all three streams (Science, Humanities and Commerce) at plus 2 level under the guidance of Mr. L. Sah, the present Principal.The school moved to the sprawling campus and well designed school building in prime location at Haldia. It now has about 700 students. The school has single section in every class.
