The Officers, Staff and Employees of Dima Hasao Autonomous Council observed a condolence at the Council Secretariat in memory of Late Shri Lalzawmthang Hmar, Ex-Executive Member, DHAC, who passed away on 6th October 2026.

We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family and pray for eternal peace to the departed soul.

HEARTFELT CONDOLENCE

We deeply mourn the passing of Late Shri Lalzawmthang Hmar, Ex-Executive Member, Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC), who passed away on 6th October 2026.

He was elected to the Seventh District Council from Jinam Valley Constituency in 1987 and later served as an Executive Member. He was again elected in the Ninth Autonomous Council Election in 2001 and served as Executive Member (Medical) from 2002.

His dedicated service and contributions to the people of Dima Hasao will always be remembered with respect and gratitude.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may God grant strength and solace to his bereaved family and loved ones.
