Warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Sikkim on the sacred occasion of Drukpa Tshezi.

Drukpa Tshezi commemorates one of the most profound moments in the history of Buddhism. It marks the day Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment and set the Wheel of Dharma in motion. Through the teachings of the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path, he offered humanity a timeless message of wisdom, compassion, and the pursuit of inner peace.

As we celebrate this holy festival, let us renew our commitment to strengthening the bonds of unity, preserving our rich spiritual and cultural heritage, and working together for the progress and well being of our society. May the timeless teachings of Lord Buddha continue to inspire us to lead lives guided by wisdom, righteousness, and compassion.

On this blessed occasion, I pray that it brings peace, happiness, good health, and prosperity to every family. May its sacred message fill our hearts with hope, wisdom, and compassion, strengthen the spirit of harmony and unity among our people, and guide our beloved Sikkim towards lasting peace and shared progress.
