Extensive desilting and maintenance activities are being undertaken across the city's drainage network to remove accumulated silt, restore carrying capacity and ensure the efficient flow of stormwater.

In Sector 38, desilting of drains is helping strengthen the local drainage system, facilitating quicker discharge of rainwater and reducing the risk of prolonged water accumulation along key roads during the monsoon.
