Celebrating 6 Years of PM SVANidhi!
On 1st June 2026, National Mission Manager Smt. Riya Rajesh from the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs visited the Street Food Hub site at Vijayawada Municipal Corporation. She interacted with the Municipal Commissioner, SMM-BL, MEPMA Staff and the Engineering team, appreciating efforts to create vibrant, hygienic, and inclusive urban spaces.

A new livelihood unit “Chai Raasta” was inaugurated today at the MRO Office, premises in Amalapuram, as part of the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s visionary initiative “One Family One Entrepreneur.”

The program was graced by Minister for Municipal Administration Sri Ponguru Narayana Garu, Amalapuram MP Sri Harish Balayogi Garu, Amalapuram MLA Sri Ayitabhattula Anandarao Garu, MEPMA Project Director Sri D. Penchalayya Garu, and Commissioner Sri Nirmal Kumar Garu.

Leaders emphasized that such livelihood units empower women to become self-reliant, create employment opportunities, and strengthen the local economy.

The event saw active participation from MEPMA staff CMM, COs, RPs, and community members, reflecting strong collective commitment toward sustainable urban livelihoods.

Celebrating 6 Successful Years of PM SVANidhi

Today in Machilipatnam, Krishna District, a PM SVANidhi Convergence Meeting was organized.

The meeting was attended by PD MEPMa, TE-LH, CMMs, the Municipal Commissioner, Bank Managers, MHO, Town Planning Officials, and Street Vendors along with their families.

During the program, street vendors with the best repayment records were felicitated, and meritorious students from their families were honored.

In addition, loan distribution and credit card issuance for applicants were carried out successfully.

This initiative not only supports financial empowerment but also celebrates the achievements of hardworking vendors and their children.

Today in Machilipatnam, Krishna District, a PM SVANidhi Convergence Meeting was organized.
