G H Mir expresses grief over Chattabal BLAZE

Urges Guv admin to provide immediate relief to affected families

Srinagar, Oct 26 : Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former agriculture minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Friday expressed grief over the massive blaze in Chattabal area of Srinagar that damaged five residential houses today.
In a statement Mir expressed sympathy with the fire affected families and urged the Governor Satya Pal Malik administration to provide immediate help and financial assistance to all those affected families.
He also urged the district administration Srinagar to ensure distribution of adequate ex-gratia compensation to the victims.

Tangmarg, Nov 3: Democratic Party
Nationalist (DPN) chief and Minister
for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir
Monday said the common man’s
prosperity and development couldn’t
be held hostage to the political
aspirations of some “unscrupulous
politicians.”
“I have been working for the
livelihood and civic development of
the people to make them
economically independent. I believe
that economic dispensation is more
important than political
dispensation,” Mir said while
addressing party workers after
inaugurating DPN office here.
He said DPN was established to
spread the model of development of
Gulmarg, his home constituency, in
whole of J&K.
“My main focus is on employment
generation and development. This I
have implemented in my home
constituency. Now, our party will
spread this model in whole of J&K,”
Mir said.
Mir hinted that DPN will field its
candidates in many North and
Central Kashmir districts including
Srinagar.
