🌱 Expanding Green Cover, Protecting Native & Endemic Species

A meaningful plantation initiative was undertaken by Ved Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth (The Art of Living) in association with BTC, the Forest Department, and Gossaigaon Sub-Division, with a focus on expanding green cover, restoring ecological balance, and promoting the protection and regeneration of native and endemic plant species.

The programme witnessed the participation of Hon’ble EM, Forest; SDO (Civil), Gossaigaon; DFO, Kachugaon; Dr. Jyothi, HOD – Herbs, The Art of Living, Bengaluru; Dr. Samir Baruah, Member, National Advisory Board – Social Projects & Government Programs, The Art of Living Foundation; and enthusiastic students of Sapkata M.E. School.

Beyond planting trees, the initiative represents a commitment to conserving our indigenous biodiversity and strengthening the ecological resilience of the region. 🌿🌳

Inauguration for KMS 2nd Crop 2025–26 at Bhowraguri PPC 🌾

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Hon'ble MLA 4 No. Baokhungri LAC Shri Rupam Chandra Ray; along with the SDO (Civil), Gossaigaon; Assistant Commissioner cm Officer-Incharge; ADS Shri Pragya Borgayary; DAO, Kokrajhar; ADA and ADOs.
