Ever since its inception in the year 1956, this Institution has always possessed a rich heritage of values and traditions of over the country. The need for setting up of more CDTSs was felt long back in 1970 when the Committee on Police Training (known as Gore Committee) recommended to the Ministry of Home Affairs that more CDTSs should be set up in Uttar Pradesh and in Western India to meet the t

raining requirement of Police Officers of these regions. Based on Gore committee recommendation the Government of India has set up of CDTS Ghaziabad in the year 2012.
