०१.०६.२०२६: SIMFED का बोर्ड सदस्य, श्री फुरदेन लेप्चा र सहायक प्रबन्धक -SIMFED आजदेखि यसका सदस्य समितिहरूको भ्रमणमा हुनुहुन्छ। भ्रमणको उद्देश्य PACS का लागि उपलब्ध अवसरहरू अन्वेषण गर्नु हो। यो SIMFED र PACS को "सहकारीहरू बीचको सहकार्य" को पहलहरू मध्ये एक हो। SIMFED ले भारतीय बीज सहकारी समितिसँग अन्वेषण गर्न सकिने अवसरहरू र बहुराज्यीय सहकारी समितिसँगको सहभागिताले PACS को विकास र विकासमा कसरी योगदान पुर्‍याउन सक्छ भनेर पनि व्याख्या गर्‍यो।टोलीले गान्तोक जिल्ला अन्तर्गतका सबै PACS को भ्रमण गर्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।

The Co-operative products developed under the Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Yojana scheme of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt of India, have been made available at the " THEE LOCAL SHELF" ..at Rising shopping complex at lal bazar terrace, These products are on display and sales for the locals and tourists who can purchase these as souviner items.

Press Release | The Third Joint Working Committee (JWC) Meeting was convened on 13th May 2026 under the chairmanship of Mr. Sisum Wangchuk Bhutia, Additional District Collector, Gangtok District.

The meeting was attended by the following members and officials:

* Mrs. Sonam Choden Bhutia, Deputy Registrar, Cooperation Department,Gangtok District.
* Mrs Rita Sapkota ,ARCS ,Cooperation Department, Gangtok District.
* Mrs.Tshering Doma Bhutia Manager,SISCO .
* Dr. Pemba D. Kayatey, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Department.
* Mr. Mewang Lowang, AGM, NABARD
* Mr. Samyuk Jain, AM, NABARD.
* Dr. Tshering G. Bhutia, Manager, Sikkim Milk Union.
* Mr. Surendra Bhandari ,AD ,fisheries Department,Gangtok district.

During the meeting, various matters concerning cooperative development and strengthening of institutional coordination were discussed in detail.

The Chairperson, Mr. Sisum Wangchuk Bhutia, highlighted the potential of dairy and fish cooperatives in the district and emphasized the need to explore opportunities for their growth and sustainability. Discussions were also held on membership mobilisation in the newly formed and revived Multi-Purpose Agricultural Cooperative Societies (MPACS), with emphasis on increasing community participation and strengthening cooperative functioning at the grassroots level.

Further, the members reviewed the progress of the computerisation of PACS and discussed measures for effective implementation and monitoring of the initiative. The participating departments and organizations shared their updates, observations, and recommendations regarding ongoing activities and future action plans.

Gangtok,13th May: The first installment for the construction grant from the Government of Sikkim, through the Department of Cooperation was handed over to the Management Committee of Rakdong Tintek MPCS ltd by the Honourable Chairman for STCS cm MLA- Tumin Lingee constituency,Shri Samdup Bhutia, at his chamber at STCS.The function also had the presence of the Registrar -Gangtok Shri BPH S***a along with ARCS Gangtok and Co-operative Inspector -Rakdong Tintek GPU .The grant will be utilised for the construction of the new MPCS building at Dikchu Zang under Rakdong Tintek GPU.
