A Gram Sabha on the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) 2026–2027 was convened today at the Gram Prasasan Kendra under the chairmanship of the Panchayat Vice President.
The meeting was attended by the Panchayat Members, Assistant Director (PRI), officials from various line departments, PRI staff, and members of the local public.
The proceedings focused on the preparation and finalization of the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) for the financial year 2026–2027. Development priorities, sector-wise requirements, and proposals received from the Gram Sabha were deliberated in detail to ensure a participatory, transparent, and need-based planning process for the holistic development of the Gram Panchayat.

19-Bhusuk Naitam GPU conducted a Special Gram Sabha on the occasion of World Environment Day along with a discussion on the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) 2026–2027. The programme was attended by the Panchayat President, Panchayat Members, Assistant Director (PRI), PRI Staff, and local residents.
A Plantation Drive was organized as part of the observance, where saplings were planted to promote environmental conservation and create awareness about the importance of a clean and green environment.
The Gram Sabha discussed key developmental priorities under GPDP 2026–2027, including infrastructure, sanitation, drinking water, livelihood opportunities, and community welfare. The Assistant Director (PRI) highlighted the importance of public participation in planning and development.
The programme concluded with a collective commitment towards environmental sustainability and the overall development of the Gram Panchayat area.

On the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day (NPRD) 2026, observed at 19- Bhusuk Naitam Gram Panchayat Unit (GPU) on 24th April 2026, in the presence of the Panchayat President Smt. Dawa Doma Bhutia, Panchayat Members, AD (PRI), PRI staff, and local public, detailed deliberations were undertaken on key thematic areas including promotion of women-led development through enhanced participation and empowerment initiatives, improvement of Panchayat performance under the Panchayat Advancement Index (PAI) through strengthened service delivery and governance practices, localisation of Sustainable Development Goals (LSDGs) by integrating them into grassroots planning and implementation, and enhancement of Own Source Revenue (OSR) through improved revenue collection mechanisms and exploration of sustainable income-generating avenues, and it was resolved to take necessary measures for effective implementation of the above in alignment with prescribed guidelines.

The Social Audit Jan Sunwai of MGNREGA was successfully conducted on 16th February 2026 at 19-Bhusuk Naitam GPU. The programme was attended by the Panchayat President, Panchayat Members, Assistant Director (PRI), concerned departmental officials, PRI staff, and a large number of local people. During the Jan Sunwai, records and works under MGNREGA were publicly reviewed and feedback from beneficiaries was discussed to ensure transparency and accountability.

The Annual Gram Sabha pertaining to the People’s Perspective Plan Campaign 2026-2027 for the formulation of the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) 2026–27 was duly convened on 16 January 2026 at 19–Bhusuk Naitam GPU, under the chairpersonship of Smt. Dawa Doma Bhutia, Panchayat President, wherein comprehensive and participatory discussions were held on sector-wise developmental requirements, existing infrastructure gaps, livelihood enhancement, social welfare measures, and sustainable development initiatives, and future-oriented plans were systematically identified, deliberated, and prioritized for inclusion in the GPDP 2026–27; the deliberations elicited active participation and a positive response from the local residents, who expressed consensus and support for the proposed developmental agenda, with the participation of Panchayat Members, Assistant Directors (PRI), GPU staff, and representatives of local bodies.
